In the later part of Term 3, students were working on a unit involving Pythagoras’ Theorem and Trigonometry. Upon completion, students moved on to Measurement, incorporating proportional reasoning and the use of scale, finalising with the construction of scale models of various structures. Some classes are still to complete this topic. However, all classes will be working on the Statistics unit.

This week, Grade 9 students have completed on-line PAT testing. This provides immediate feedback to both teachers and students, highlighting a student’s strengths and weaknesses. This facilitates teachers in providing better, more targeted work for the individual student.
