On Wednesday the 12th of November (Week 5), the SLB will be hosting a World's Greatest Shave event at lunchtime in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
Mrs Bent and the wonderful Hair and Beauty students will be showcasing their hairdressing skills on staff and students who are willing to participate. 

Students have been asked to elect whether they would like to shave, chop or dye their hair (wash out). Permission letters will be sent home and they must be signed by a parent/carer in order to participate. There will also be coloured hair spray on offer which does not require permission. If any student would like to donate their hair, the minimum cut will need to be 20cm.

Please note, participating students do not need to fundraise.

The SLB have set up a Queechy High School donation page and have set themselves a $1000 fundraising goal. They will also host a BBQ on the day - all funds will be donated.
